Sprint Spectrum Continues to Encroach

Sprint Communications Corporation has filed for a use variance on residential property located a 19 Whitty Road. Sprint’s objective is to build a Cell Tower 105 feet tall on land leased to them by a private citizen, who lives in another town. Beware this is not the only site they plan to build on. The towers they propose can only cover an area with a radius of 1 mile, our town is large. We believe they have already begun to exploring other privately held lots one on Kinnelon Road near the Girl Scout Camp, and one in Smoke Rise on Mountain Road. We need your help to stop this violation of the town ordinance, and to not allow the precedent to be set allowing a private residential area to be turned into a telecommunication zone.
