The Kinnelon-Butler Optimist Club has been in existience for over 20 years and hosts the following activities for local children through out the year:

• Toys and food certificates for families at Christmas time
• Childhood Cancer Campaign
• Easter Egg Hunt (Silas Condit Park)
• Halloween Costume Judging Contest
• Oratorical Contes
• Child Safety Seat Inspection
• Scholarships to both Kinnelon and Butler High School Seniors
• Sponsorship of Boy Scout Troop 277 and various other activities.
